It could also be that you were scammed and the seller reported the charge for the pledge for the item you received as fraudulent, thus the pledge was removed. We call these sorts of stolen pledges illicit goods. When a player's account is stolen from them by an account thief, more often than not their pledges end up being sold to other players looking for rare or "discounted" ships. If a gift you received from a another player via a third-party site was later removed from your account, that means that the item you received was considered to be stolen property and has been returned to the rightful owner. Such sites where players might go to pay other players for ships to trade are known as the "grey market". This is CIG's stance on the "grey" market: I RECEIVED SOMETHING FROM ANOTHER PLAYER THROUGH A THIRD-PARTY SERVICE, BUT IT WAS DEEMED "FRAUDULENT" AND REMOVED. Next window to buy or upgrade to the Reclaimer might be invictus I think? But I'm not sure about that. Upgrading from the Andromeda to the Reclaimer would cost $175 plus tax/vat. An aquila to Reclaimer upgrade would currently cost $90 plus tax/vat. On top of that, there are a few times a year where you can buy such an upgrade on the official RSI store. But juts be aware that those are not official places to pledge for Star Citizen ships. There are a bunch of people trading there though, so the amount of scam's around is probably not that high. There are sometimes scammers around so if you really want to buy at those places, look out to buy from someone who has a good and long reputation. But those upgrades where rare and only for specific ships, so that is just a side note.Īlso be careful with buying from 3rd party market places. In that case the insurance that last longer would take affect during the upgrade process, although the ship at the end would show both insurance durations. On a side note, there where some upgrades to specific ships around that would come itself with, a quite long, insurance. If your Aquila had LTI, you Reclaimer will have LTI. So if your Aquila has 6 months, the Reclaimer will have 6 month. If you have an Aquila you could apply that upgrade, no matter if it is a standalone Aquila, or in one of your game packages, or if you got it by upgrading another ship.Īlso one thing to notice is that the Reclaimer will have the insurance from the ship that you used the upgrade on. Or does it need to be a standalone pledge for the Aquila You can also let the upgrade sit in your hangar for a while before you apply it and wait until the Reclaimer gets a bit more purpose (it's basically useless but cool looking right now). If you upgrade to a Aquila you could then buy and apply that upgrade on your Aquila to get a Reclaimer. If i upgraded my andromeda to an Aquila, would i be able to get the reclaimer this way? Star Hangar was one of the star citizen market places where you trade with other people upgrades/ships for money? I've been looking on Star hangar and there's a Aquila to Reclaimer No LTI
